Benefits of C/3 Nourishing Mask

The hydrating power of shea butter makes C/3 an extremely nourishing mask. The orange blossom water acts as a natural stimulant for the skin and helps it regenerate smoothly, withstand external aggressions and signs of ageing.

The high concentration in palmitoleic acid brought by the macadamia oil also contributes to moisturise your skin and to help prevent the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

  • How strong is C/3's smell (1 to 10 scale)? 6 - a deep, very relaxing natural orange flower smell which gives it an oriental character.

  • Defining C/3's texture? Quite rich, still it penetrates quickly in your skin thanks to its emulsion nature (similar to the skin's surface). Don't tell this secret, but you can also use C/3 as a night cream by applying a bit less on your face and not wiping it afterwards...

Its moisturizing and softening effects one from its ability to capture water molecules and lock them in the cells of the epidermis. It is found in its natural state in cherries, but also in all natural fats like those of the skin.

  • Coconut alcohol

  • Benzyl alcohol

Antimicrobial preservative and solvent. One of the few preservatives allowed in organic products. It is naturally present in apricots, almonds, apples, asparagus, etc.

  • Titanium dioxide

It is a natural mineral powder used in large particules as a white cosmetic dye. Not to be confused with the same (and controversial) ingredient in nanoparticles.

  • Citrus sinensis peel oil expressed (orange essential oil)

Orange essential oil is astringent, i.e. tightens pores to improve skin texture. It is also known to help the epidermis better withstand external aggressions and signs of ageing. Its vitamin C is known for activating microcirculation and toning the complexion.

  • Dehydroacetic acid

Used as an antimicrobial and fungicide preservative.

  • Limonene

A fragrant oil component, limonene is naturally present in numerous essential oils (citrus rinds), pine oil and mint oil.
